LEA'S WORKING WITH ELONEX
Elonex is a certified Becta ICT Supplier
Elonex is one of a small number of approved ICT suppliers under the Becta Accredited
ICT Service Supplierscheme . The scheme provides new way for schools to procure ICT systems. Offering a package
based on an agreed standard of networking hardware, software, Internet access, installation, training and support, Elonex will
supply an ICT service for a three-year period in exchange for a simple regular payment.
Most schools can apply to buy under the Becta Accredited ICT Service, whatever their local provision. Essentially the scheme rolls the best of our extensive products and services into one inclusive agreement.
Costed Proposal
From our discussions we will prepare a fully costed proposal covering all the products and services you are interested in. We can
also provide quotes for lease-rental finance at this stage to spread the costs over a number of years whilst providing flexibility for
future expansion or upgrade of your system.
Agreement
Once we have negotiated a satisfactory agreement a contract will be signed by us to guarantee delivery and performance. For larger
installations a Project Implementation Plan will be drawn up by our Project Management team who will then control the installation
process.
Installation
Elonex will deliver the products straight from its warehouse and if you have asked us to install them our trained engineers will do so
under the guidance of our Project Management team. On completion a Test document will be completed by the engineers who will
ask you to sign that you are satisfied. Your Account Manager will act as liaison to iron out any issues through this process.
Maintenance and Support
Once the system has been handed over our support team will assume responsibility for its smooth running, providing support to the
level you have contracted for. Twelve months, plus lifetime hardware telephone support, warranty is included with all Elonex PC's and
Servers. We also offer a range of additional support
and maintenance services designed to fit in with your school's resources.
Expansion, Upgrading and Replacement
All Elonex systems are expandable, using industry standard components and software. You can usually plan to add extra workstations
and functions to a network system without losing your existing investment. Within the limits of what is available at the time, Elonex will offer
upgrades for all its equipment to keep it up to date with the needs of your school.
Our policy of continual structured improvement will ensure that appropriate replacements are available when you come to consider changing your equipment. We can help you plan a rolling program, which can help to extend the benefits of ICT to more areas as time goes on. Our finance plans can help here too, providing additional funds when they are needed.
Dedicated Account Management
Your first contact with Elonex Education Team will trigger the allocation of an Account Manager to deal with you until we have satisfied
your requirements. If required, your Manager will arrange visits by our technical and cabling specialists to survey your site, free of
charge. This will allow us to prove cost and project estimates for your plans. For larger installations we will usually arrange further
meetings to establish the terms of an agreement.
