Where it all began
Elonex was the market leader of Digital Convergence products, creating a new product category and redefining the style of the computing sector. Working closely with Microsoft in the 90's allowed Elonex to create a spectacular range of products that incorporated some of Elonex's newly developed patents. Centered around the entire family the 'Digital Home' range gave families a whole new way to experience their favourite music, videos, Tv and radio as well as surfing the web and sending eMail.

The Artisan was a Media Centre designed to go underneath a user's existing TV to priovide full blown PC functionality as well as the ultimate in multimedia and networking functionality. The same size and shape as a VCR unit the Artisan was light years ahead in both feature set and aesthetics.

 The ultimate all-in-one computer the eXentia raised the bar in home computing for all the family. Ultra compact and incredibly stylish the eXentia was the ultimate in style for the digital home. Its combined table-top design did away with the bulky beige base units that plagued so many households and brought in a fresh new computing style.

Where we are now.

Elonex was founded in 1986 to offer computer and related IT services direct to customers allowing them to exercise more control and benefit from improved flexibility. Elonex is now one of the most respected IT solutions provider and supplier of innovative consumer electronics to the modern digital home market. Elonex's international presence means our customers not only benefit from our reputation as a quality manufacturer but also from a broader range of skills and experience.
New technology
Elonex has always provided its customers with the quality and innovation which they have come to expect. The company provides the key elements in most of its systems, and has invented numerous patentable solutions. Included in these was DPMS technology - the worldwide standard for power-saving in monitors. Elonex was one of the first companies in the world to market an ENERGY STAR compliant computer. Elonex has also pioneered the UMC sector and is currently regarded as the market leader. We aim to release new and innovative products into the marketplace on continual basis.

Elonex's hardware products are designed at its Midlands headquarters and at other sites in Europe, and worldwide. The company's wealth of knowledge and experience gives it a huge advantage in delivering high quality products and services directly to customers.

Growth Since inception in 1986 Elonex has grown substantially already having to move premises in the early 1990's to accommodate its expanding operations. The IT industry has become far more competitive with the influx of new companies. Elonex still maintains its position above many competitors because of our renound service and quality products.
Independence & Stability
Elonex is an independent business that is not subject to the instability created by being a listed company. The organisation and its employees can focus on their responsibilities to the customer and not the demands of the shareholder. We aim to satisfy the needs of our customers, employees, suppliers, the community and the environment.
Continuous Improvement
Profits are ploughed back into the business in order to undertake more research and development but also into training. This enables us to keep pace with current customer trends and technological changes to provide the superlative in fulfilling our customers demands.

1995 Elonex Solutions Division formed, won MOD contract.
1997 Elonex wins NHS Supplies Authority
2001 Elonex wins Gcat/NHSCat contract for Hardware & Systems Integration
2003 Elonex wins a contract to supply under the Governments' Laptops for Teachers Initiative, earns supplier status for the Governments NHS National Programme for IT
