The new Jigsaw Learning Centre from Powerdesk® is a remarkable innovation that incorporates a powerful Elonex PC into a highly functional, practical and stylish piece of bespoke furniture.
Recently installed in Marish Junior School in Langley, the Jigsaw developed by Powerdesk® incorporates an Elonex PC and monitor with DuPont's Corian® solid surface to create a durable workstation specifically designed to meet the needs of the modern educational environment.
The patented furniture is made from Corian®, the versatile, solid surface material invented by DuPont. Ideal for situations where there is heavy public usage, Corian® is highly durable and completely non-porous, making it hygienic, stain-resistant and very easy to clean and maintain (graffiti and other damage can be easily removed). Corian® is also pleasingly smooth, warm and silky to the touch.
The 10-year guaranteed Powerdesk® furniture also offers adjustable height at the touch of a button (teacher-only controlled!), making the desks suitable for all sizes, from small children who want to sit to a 7ft adult who may prefer to stand at their workstation. This also means the end of having a special desk in the corner for disabled users.
Another key advantage of Powerdesk® computer embedded furniture is the lack of external wires, which makes it safer for both students and equipment, plus it¨s easy to upgrade to meet future IT advancements.
