Upgrade your Firmware
To upgrade the firmware you will need to do the following

 

 ::  Switch your eBook off.
::  Connect your eBook to your PC via USB

::  Switch the unit on and press the OK button. This will then show the eBook as a removable disk. Choose 'open folder' to view files.

::   Download the relevant firmware file below depending on whether you have the touchscreen version of the eBook or not. Unzip the files ( so you have 2 files - update.bin and update.cde). Save them straight onto the eBook not into any of the folder inside it.

::   Once the two files are saved disconnect the USB cable and choose the "Settings" option from the main menu.

::    Using the down button select [System Maintenance]and press option 1 [Driver Update]. This will automatically update the firmware.

::   Once the firmware has finished it will auto restart the eBook and boot back to the main menu.  

::   Once finished go back delete the two files (update.bin and update.cde).  

 

As you will now notice you have two options in the new menu;

 Bookcase which is for the free books and downloaded non DRM eBooks and then a second option which is Digital Editions for copyrighted downloads.
