Connecting to Wi-Fi

To be able to connect your one-t to your wireless network, you will need to know your authentication type and your password. If you are unsure of these, hopefully the following instructions will help you. Firstly,
1)      Turn on your one-t.
2)      Go to “WIFI connection”.
3)      Go to “preferred Networks”.
4)      Highlight and delete any preferred networks.
         (If there are any).
5)      Press ok.
6)      Then Refresh your network selection using the “refresh” icon.
7)      Click on your network, and then click connect. (If you can not find your network, there may be a problem with either your wireless or your signal. If you click the “refresh” icon several times and you can still not pick your network up, you will need to speak to your internet provider).

To move on to step 8 you will need to know your authentication type, this will either be, WEP or WPA.
If you have a wireless computer or laptop which is windows enabled, you can find out this out by going to your wireless networks. And when you pick up your network it will either say WEP or WPA next to it.  If it say’s neither it would be WEP.

If you do not know your authentication type, you will need to speak to your internet provider.
8)      Highlight and click, your correct authentication type.
9)      Type in your password.

You would of been provided with your password when you set up your wireless net work. If you do not know your password, you would need to speak to your internet provider.
10)   Click “ok”
11)   Click “yes”
12)   You’re done

Next to your network it should now say “connected, IP Address...”.  (If you are connected however it says “server not found” on your internet, please refer to step 13)

If it says, IP Address Invalid, it may be that your password is incorrect. If this is the case, please confirm your password with your internet provider. (If you have confirmed your password and it still says “IP address invalid”, please refer to step 13)

If it says “Not Connected”, it may mean your authentication type is wrong, so please follow the instructions again and change your authentication type.
